Title: Carb tube routing
Post by: Jagged on June 13, 2008, 02:03:05 PM
Hey just had one quick question; I put in my new motor and was just about to put on the gas tank when I noticed the tube connecting to junction #78 was attached to nothing I would most appreciate any assistance.

Hmm doesnt even show the junction in that diagram; i have the sneaking suspicion that it is a vent tube of some kind but i really dont wannt put my tank in and fill it unless i really know

I live in BC too (Vancouver) :) Canadian bikes do not have any of the extra emissions equipment; however, it is possible your bike was imported from nearby California.

I wonder if the bike would still function if i just plugged it off, any theories? it just frustrates me a great deal because it could just be a damn vent and not be meant to even attach to anything
