Title: Gas leak
Post by: skinnypac on June 15, 2008, 03:49:17 PM
Okay so while doing some repairs to my bike, changing the chain and sproket I must have knocked something loose cause the bike won't turn over now and it's leaking gas. I have posted on a couple other strings about this. Wanted to find out if anyone had any ideas why I would be leaking gas out of Vent Hose from Upper T Connection. I'm pointing to the hose that is leaking in the below picture.

I do not know what else we can say.The only thing that causes fuel to leak from that hose is 1) float level is set to high 2) the float needle and seat are hanging open 3) the seat O-ring is bad. That's it.It's really as simple as that.
