I was just taking off like normal, and after the bob b/vance ignition advancer was put in I guess there was a little more than normal or I gave it a bit more clutch or something, cause from a stand still my front wheel came off the ground pretty good. I just set it back down, and kept going but it scared the crap out of me. I've never done that on a street bike before, only dirt. I'm gonna have to practice slipping second going 25 or so and see if I can play around with that some more.
From looking at ur Sig, I think the 14 tooth Sprocket Is Your Biggest Help In This :thumb:
WOOT!!
:o
congrats man. can't get mine to do that. sounds like fun!
let me tell ya, I wasn't trying to!!! It was a little bit too much fun and now I want to test the waters a little bit.
Yah man. I hear ya. I wouldn't do it on purpose either... at least not on public roads.... I generally like to have the front end planted and engaged in twisties...
but still seems fun. :icon_twisted:
a little too fun maybe.
??? ??? On a GS500? :o :o
congrats dude! :thumb:
I brought up my front wheel by accident for the first time a couple weeks ago... The R6 is supposedly REAL easy to wheelie, but I never really attempted to try...
I was heading down a straight road, still in 1st gear... I decided to just gun while I was already at around 11,000 RPM. I actually felt the front wheel rise up... scary as shaZam! if you're not expecting it.
lol
With a Gearing change , the Gs can be a wheelie machine :thumb:

yeah, with a 52t rear sprocket
the GSXR wants to wheelie and it would easily and I may have once but I was just riding, I like to keep both my tiny rubber patches on the road
