Title: 2005 front wheel compatability
Post by: plurpimpin on June 17, 2008, 02:17:11 PM
I am looking at buying a used gs500 but it has a bent front wheel. My local salvage yard doesn't have a 2005 but they have a few other years. I was wondering what year front wheels fit onto a 2005?

thanks abunch

all years GS and 89 to 97 KATANA 600/750 you need to use the GS brake rotor and plastic hub cover. Also the 98+ works,it's a direct swap, but the spokes are straight and the wheel is 3.5 inches wide instead of 3 inches like the early wheels.

I might keep a eye out for one of those Straight Spoked Katana Wheels,

It goes nicely with the 98+ Katana 4.5 inch rear wheel conversion.
