Tazz as much as i would like to help you out.. I know shipping overseas is gonna be expensive. Going air, and its a fairly large package. I wouldn't want to ship it in a cardboard box either its far too delicate.. using a hardened case will add more costs. Thanks for your interest, but I will have to decline.
How about if I supply you with a US adress for shipping?
I will then sort it out from there.
Or it can be shipped with UPS, its not quite as expensive as one should think.
I would very much like to get my hands on one of these ;)
Please show me what I'm doing wrong then.
I put in weight of 10lbs , 15" x 15" x 40" box and the only shipping options are air. $500 shipping.
Plus the box thing, do you feel comfortable shipping this thing air in a cardboard box? I've seen many things break going through airports... so I would have to source a hardended container for it as well.
Well i tried finding a UPS quote... Couldnt work out their site :dunno_white:
I did manage to find one from US Post though.
$82.50 for priority
$105.25 for express
(put the weight as 20 pounds)
I'll try and ask my brother how he gets his parts shipped.
He has been getting some honda parts from the other side of the pond several times,
but as far as i can remember he never paid more that $60 for shipping.
I will take the CF seat and have cash in hand!!
I'll take the 140 mains. shipped to 24244. please pm me your paypal addy, and final price, so I can pay
for stock seat, how much shipped to 95503 and is it in good condition no cracks etc??? If so I'm interested. I'm just gonna cut my old one up and get the new one just in case. Thanks.
Does the tank have any rust, and does the cap work? My tank is rusty and the cap is broken due to key not turning :P
On the solo seat, does it have a cutout for the tail light, and how does it attach to the bike? I see two bolt holes spots up front, are those 'it'?
how much for the stock seat shipped to san diego? I might be down to come pick it up.

The back is cut out with room for a tail light.
The seat mounts with 2 bolts up front that replace the tank bracket bolts. The rear uses an aluminum bracket that mounts to the rail where the seat latch is located. 2 screws attach the seat to the aluminum bracket. The seat sits on 2 foam blocks attached to the subframe rails. You can get creative on mounting for your own application. These were originally designed for track use, minimalistic and light weight.
That looks like one of the last tails I made.

Drat, I was hoping there was no taillight cutout, not that it's that big a deal. : ) If all the hardware is there, I'll start verifying finances. That tail with a Titan fairing kit should dress up my race bike quite nicely I think, assuming I can swing it all.
Just reviving this thread, is the solo seat still available?
Haven't been watching this thread..
I 've sold the solo seat already sorry!
D-oh! Oh well, if one turns up... I still have a chance another will. : )
