Well, my ship has finally come in! I got this email this morning letting me know that Fedex in Nigeria is ready to ship my $750,000 ATM card as soon as I provide my address and $240 fee!
I'm rich! I'm rich!
It's kind of a fun read. I especially liked the VERY professional Fedex phrases like, "Be careful with their e-mails so that your parcel will not be in danger with their evil planes."
Evil planes, indeed!

Authoritatively, this is the FedEx courier service company mailing you in
respect of your parcel that was brought to this company to be delivered to

misunderstanding between you and the National Insurance Corporation of
Nigeria (NICON) over the Insurance Certificate which caused the delay of you
receiving your parcel for the past one year.
Meanwhile we are happy to inform you that the FedEx has finalized everything
with the (NICON) and subsequently approved yours among the 24 valuable
parcels to be couriered after the released of the parcels from the (NICON)

CARD worth $750,000.00 (Seven Hundred And Fifty Thousand United State
Dollars) is among the 24 parcel's listed which is now in our office and
also with your name as the receiver despise that we lost your private
residential address which is an indication that you can now re-send your
residential address back to the FedEx company where your parcel can be
delivered to you without hesitation.
Meanwhile remember that the sender of this parcel a Secretary still owes
this company the sum of $240 before the incident occued. Know you that we
have spent some money in the process by recovering back your parcel. We once
again appreciate your patronage. Without hesitation you are to pay for just
the balance left by your sender via western union money transfer so that
your parcel can be delivered to your residential address before it attracts
demurrage.
Your parcel is not just an ordinary parcel but with a huge amount and I
think you understand what I mean by accumulating a demurrage? Which you will
not allow to happen to the recovery parcel that almost gone if not for the
love that the good God has for you. I urge you to make hay while the sun
shines.
We assure you that your parcel will arrive your country within 3 days as

WOW! I wonder if i'm going to recieve one too since i'm so lucky these days!
In 3 weeks i've won the lottery in france, belgium, norway, spain (twice) and italy!
Now thats luck for ya, considering i've never played the lottery :cookoo:
I wonder how may people actually fall for these scams?
Funny, it started out sounding like an official email. Then they screwed it all up by talking about god and making hay. Dumb. Coulda had a nice sounding scam for a minute, but it's all loused now.
interesting points:
why would FedEx know what is in a package ?
why would FedEx know the value of the card inside a package ?
why would FedEx give a rip about 'hunting you down' to get it to you ?
why would FedEx -ever- require additional payments to receive a package ?
and most importantly ----
why the heck does E have to come before I whenever it follows C ?
