Title: Battery Discharge
Post by: dleemiller on June 18, 2008, 03:43:03 PM
I have a 97 and I have to keep my bike outside. I use a cover with it....best I can do. Anyway, I chain it
to a phone pole so I just leave it out unattended for a few days if it's rainy. One day, after a couple days
of solid rain, I go out to find that my bike is leaning against the phone pole (maybe 5 degrees lean). I pick
it up and try to get it started, but the battery is dead. So I jump it and ride it around for a while and leave it
overnight. Next day, dead again. The battery looks fine to me. Something must have shorted somewhere. Any
ideas where to start?
