Happens all the way at the end when it finalizes? Is it just shy of 750MB?  maybe its too big?

How old is the drive? update your software? did you try different media/another brand? lens cleaner?

Pay for legal software.  That's what you need to do.

lol!   Cracking code in your spare time Mach?   :thumb:

I prefer a blunt piece of coal and a flat rock to AwfulCAD.   :icon_mrgreen:

As I recall, AutoCAD offers student licenses for short change.  Solid Works does too.  The Solid Works student edition is the full-featured program but puts watermarks all over your plots.  If you're taking a drafting course, you might be able to snag a copy from your drafting teacher.  He might have a crack too.

autocad has  teh 30 day trials, so in theory, you can ( legally) re download, the trials, as long as you can provide valid hotmail email addies, or gmail, or yahoo or whatever

are you burning a cd, or a dvd ? that's a 1.4Gb file, and won't fit on a cd. :)

i'm assuming it's burning it to a dvd since it's only writing 8x, or trying to.

if it is 1.4gb, and you do have a dvd rw burner, and you are trying to write to dvd, i'd suspect the dvd drive is dead as far as writing or your media is shaZam!. it happens. dvd's suck. you know you can just mount the iso (like nice little linux/unix machines!) with daemontools and use the stuff from that mounted image, right ?

i -hate- windows. :)

Fruity Loops is Awesome as a drum machine
Reason is also very good , u can make drum beats , but u can make whole complete songs , with Samples and such , and u can insert all new ones ..

Reason and cubase are well worth it once u learn how to use it ,

Sorry to jack the thread but it looked over anyway  :icon_mrgreen:

I had classes on pro tools at the Art Institute. I like it but havent tried to get it yet.. I have been using cool edit but I had no plugins for drums.  I just have a small setup to record guitar and bass tracks, its a pain to set up and mic my drums cause I have no room to keep em up  :icon_rolleyes:

cant wait to start using ezdrummer and this M-audio midi kb 8)
