Title: Let There Be Light Yelled Travis...PICS
Post by: Fry on June 18, 2008, 07:36:09 PM
I love Big Brown, they always bring a smile with their deliveries.

Today I was greeted with the following boxes; Hella Optilux 2500 Angel Eye Light Kit, Graphite (To match rims) Renthal 1 1/8th Fat Bars (Pastrana Mx Low Bend) and beefy looking Tusk Universal Bar Adapters, I just had to Mock them up.

I still have some adjusting of the light brackets to do as well as purchasing some CRC bar end mirrors, then I can cut the handlebar width down.

Also what do you guys think about perhaps adding a 1-2" Round Pencil Beam type of light on top of and dead center between these to Hella's, creating a sort of rounded off triangle futuristic set up? LED? Overkill? Just tossing around ideas before I finalize and install.

Heres the Pics, I don't have power to light the main bulb yet however the kit comes wired with a AAA battery to test the Halo Eyebrow lights though, as seen below.

I just ordered a set of, but will only use 1 of these.

I'll move the duals up a bit, then in the remaining space above them I'll mount 1 Oval, which also has the halo effect.

Looks almost ready to ride.  Just put the wheels on and attach the pedals..  err.  motor!   :icon_mrgreen:

That's an interesting set of blue tires you have there.

your bike is going to look so cool at night. you'll of course need a few LED signals, LED tail/brake, and some LEDs to highlight your frame/engine/wheels.

with all of them on you might not draw even 1 amp hour, so you could leave em on while you get a starbucks at night.

that would look so cool. :)

enjoying your modifications, keep us posted of course :)

LED Tail and Brake Light and Directionals, havent decided on front turn signals yet.

I hate Starbucks.

Im not into showing off, and or having a x-mas tree type bike with tons of accent lights, thanks though.

No for showing off, for them, it's  all for YOU ! When I stop for a bite or drink (coffee folks !) I like to park where I can see the gs. It's just cool if there is a good view. Screw everybody else, it's for ME !

;) good luck with the build, it's gonna be fun !

If you like that stuff, that cool.

I on the other hand just like the basic lighting, not into having Strobes, Accent Lighting or anything like that, but I must admit I have seen some HD's with nice lighting kits.
