Putting in new fork oil, and I did the syringe method. Progressive springs are in, put 375 ml in and its TO THE TOP. Actually I probably have about 360 or so, 375 would have overflowed. I know about 4" from top with spring out and fork compressed, but anyone know with the progressive spring in and fork leg extended?
Is the 375ml measurement with stock spring or with Progressive?
Just seems high since under any compression the fluid really has no where to go.... aka out the fork seals! :o
Boy did I F up....... popped the other cap and BOING! front end shot down and shot fluid everywhere. Guess I can just do the 3.9" measurement now
Hey Sikdmax,
Are you still looking for this info?
I just saw your post.
Here is the info you need:
Fork oil, per leg, with Progressive Suspension fork springs: 11 0z. per leg (that's 5.5" from top of the fork tube, with leg compressed and no spring inside).
I hope this helps and that that you can still use it.
Yours,
Todd
Thank you sir much appreciated!
