Title: hola
Post by: switch on June 20, 2008, 11:29:36 AM
hi all,
recently got an '01 GS500 (back on june 7th), but i was lurking here a little before that. gotta say that the community was a great resource before i even bought the bike. looking forward to reading, posting, and learning. bike is stock except for a K&N air filter, and V&H exhaust. i should have it back by next week since its in the shop getting carbs cleaned / sync'd, i can't wait to get it back. also, anyone know if using the dry ice method would work for taking small dings and dents out of the tank?

I have tried dry ice before with no success. I may not have got the tank hot enough first. This was on an SV tank though and the dents had a slight crease. I should try it again on the 01 tank on my 92.
