Title: Exhaust question

on stock exhaust, you know the little piece of pipe that comes out to the bigger piece of pipe(if i had a picture i would show you) can i cut that off to make it flush with the inside of the bigger part of the exhaust.

can you elaborate WHERE on the exhaust system this is?, sorry m8 im having a hard time figuring out where

 :2guns: I was just joshin yous two but as far as the first post goes.(sorry to hijack your thread) Get a sawzall or something that will gut a clean line,  then get a sander pr diegrinder with a polishing disc and clean the cut and make it smooth. may I ask why do you wanna do this. oh yama he is talking about the outlet on a stock can

they stick out about 2 inches or so but then again I dont have a stocker laying around but my V&H is long

my stocker is flush, opr pretty close. not 2 inches less than half if i remember correctly
