I installed a set of the 1 inch mirror extenders on my bike a couple weeks ago on my 2004 F.
No more moving around trying to see past my shoulders! Before, I've nearly wrecked due to trying to see what's behind me, but these extensions are a real bonus if you have an F model and have the same problem. I'm 6'1" and now I just barely have the edge of my shirt showing in each mirror. All I have to do is glance at my mirrors and get a full view of what's behind me. No more figeting around!

ya man, i know that feeling (I'm 6'4").
i put a couple of the tiny blind spot mirrors on my flyscreen (not stock gs stuff, but a sv650 screen) and it helps. the extenders i tried never stayed tight. think they were made out of chrome colored cheese instead of steel. :)

I've got the same problem because I'm 6'3". I use a pair of these on my E-model:

They stay on tight and get the mirrors out approx 1". I also use a pair of SV mirrors. I find the combination of mirror extenders and SV mirrors generally works pretty well!
Too bad I'm not a machinist or I would have been able to easily fabricate them myself (and make a few extra pairs for GStwin members) ;)
