Title: comparing fork springs
Post by: 500rampage on June 22, 2008, 09:03:40 PM
Hi guys been obsering the forum for awhile now.  Need a little help.  Want to replace my front fork springs just wondering which would be better the Sonic Springs or the Progressive Springs.  Bike is used more as a daily commuter and weekend cruiser.  Just really trying to alleviate soft front end for as little as possible.  And yes, I already replaced fork seals and fluid to 15w.  Any info greatly appreciated.

I prefer the progressives. They can handle 2 up riding. The Sonics are straight rate springs that are matched to your body wieght.Riding 2 up with straight rate springs could be rough riding 2 up.I used Progressives for commuting, sport riding, and site seeing.
