Title: rejetting help
Post by: jdecaire on June 24, 2008, 07:31:58 PM
ive got an 06 gs500f and ive got a yoshimura slip-on exhaust and a k&n drop in air filter in it and ive had the exhaust on since last july or august and i havent rejetted, and i just put the k&n filter in and im finding alot more vibrations and sometimes starts are harder and takes a while to warm up.  im just wondering wut would be suggested to rejet with, like what should my pilot, mid, and main be? any suggestions?

also if i switch to synthetic oil do i need a special filter, cuz i kno in cars they recommend a different filter, or is a stock replacement fine?

Pipe and K&N = +2 on mains and +1 pilots and 1 washer under needle.
Cool.

whats +2 on main? i was running a 134 with pipe and k&n and it didnt feel right. went back to 122.5 and it still didnt run right. i think i found a 130 is alright. my pilots were 34 and i didnt adjust those.
