Funny how these rides in WA get planned and nothing ever happens. I planned so many of these over the years and people never show up. I finally gave up on planning rides and just hit the road. Hope this one works out for you...I'm in the Kent area so let me know if you come this way and I should be able to hook for a ride.

No new posts on this one. I guess it was flushed in the crapper just like all the other rides. Oh well...if anyone decides to plan something send me a PM or something.

I get the bike back out of the shop this Friday, so I am up for getting together with other locals. Even as soon as this weekend as Sunday is definitely open for me.

Hey guys.. you should actually check out www.pnwriders.com  theres more people there posting ride times to get together.  Thought its more of all types of motorcycle aside from gs 500f. Thought i would share it with you all. My bike is in the shop getting rejet and exhaust put in.   They got people actually rating roads in the NW.  While its getting less days for sunshine riding i was hoping we could set up a time for a sunday ride on HWY 112. Its over at the peninsula and you have to take edmonds fairy over.  I am open for Sept 21st. If any of you are interested. It will be my first ride with a group probably if i dont get together with the pnwriders before then.  If you interested PM and see what we can do.

New to the GStwin group. Located in Bothell, Washington. I'll watch the group for ride announcements. E-me if you want to put something together.

I was out dragging parts with a buddy on Eliott and High Bridge roads north of Woodinville today. Great little ride.

Yeah highbridge road is nice. I use it to practice getting used to curves.   I like being there between 630pm and 730pm.. no traffic.  Hate having to wait for a car. ruins the fun.

I may be able to make the ride on the 21st. We are doing the Puyallup one day this weekend, just not sure which day. I will check with the wife tonight and post tomorrow. But yeah, we 3-4 GS guys in the area, we should get together for a ride before the weather turns.

I'm a lynnwood area guy myself, I'm not really up for long rides usually (I commute 80 miles a day on usually on the bike unless I'm too lazy/cold)  But I'd love to meet up with some other GS owners, even if it's just to hang out and chat or ride something localish (not to much arround here that I know of but 196th street headed towards edmonds has a fun set of downhill curves on it).  I'm new but gaining experience fast, bought my GS in march with 3000 miles on it, now it's got 10,000 and it's just about time for a new rear tire.

I think I'm the first from Olympia... :woohoo: So where's all the West Coast GSTWINS. We're totally out numbered by the members on the east coast. I say we go over there and give them a little  :2guns: and take over!

I might try...it depends on if my GS is put back together by then and if I have new riding gear. It sounds like a lot of fun....I will keep everyone posted so we might be able to set up a ride together if anyone is interested.

Bothell area here. Like Darkmyst, I'm a daytripper up for rides of a couple of hours. Some cool things to do would be:

- Deception Pass
- Snoqualmie Pass
- Mountain Loop Highway to Barlow Pass
- Port Townsend
- La Conner / Anacortes / Guemes Island

These are all rides I think we could do in a relaxed day (lots of stops, a couple of hours of riding).

I'm itching to ride and I'm out on any dry day at 50 degrees or above. I'd like to put together a group ride as the weather improves. Every rider would receive a map. Stay-together or regroup would be a decision we could make on ride day.

Hit me up if you're interested.

Bluehaze suggested a northern Olympics loop that sounds excellent. If you haven't ridden the stretch of 101 along Crescent Lake, you've missed a great set of curves. I just hope the state has done some work on that pavement.

I am in North Bend. This weekend I hope to get my bike back together after doing the top end rebuild. After a short break-in period, I should be good for a ride.

I'm in Seattle...  Beacon Hill.

I tried to get rides together too...  One worked.  HA HA HA.  GSTwins in Seattle seems to be a no-group-ride-zone.  I don't know why...  :dunno_black:

pnwriders has tons of group rides, but watch out for the hooligans...  When the cops see one moto doing something wrong, they sometimes ticket everyone in the group.  That's why I ride mostly by myself...  'cause I don't want other people getting tickets.   :D

You all want to try for a ride this Saturday? I have never been on a group ride, and don't yet know any of the good routes, but I am free. Weatherman says we may see some rain, but does not look like much and it will be high 60's.

Otherwise, I am planning on riding up to Bellingham tomorrow for a bike night if anyone wants to come along.

Wow... I would go on the ride with you but I'm going to do a benefit ride with two of the guys from Time Bandit from the Deadliest Catch show. If I was available I would most definitely go on a ride with you. I'm always open to burn some gas on the GS.
