Good catch ohgood.... DEFINITELY a scam...
Don't get it. Why call him a scammer when he's got the goods and delivers the merchandise. I do think that bumping the price is unfair buisness practice and defeats the whole purpose of ebay, but I would call him a sob or jacka** not a scammer. Or am I missing something?
If you look at all the "bidders" you'll notice that there's a pattern to them all...
one character followed by two *'s and another character...
I normally wouldn't call that scamming, but if you look at the various feedback ratings for those bogus accounts, they're not all consistant... they range from 0 to 1607... that's some fishy business.

theres an explanation for that. and ebay even does that. if you look at ANY ebay auction, as long as youre not teh seller, nor the buyer, tehy will all appear like that, something about privace ( just click bid history on any auction. youll see.) and hell those things are chinese , i work on more of those sons-a-bitches than i care to remember
I've had auctions of mine end up looking like that before. I think it has something to do with the proxy bids.
idk about that.... look at this item... My max bid was $100...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT&item=260245097306
This was a private auction where the bidder's identities were protected....
Well, annguyen, it would help tremendously if we were able to see the names of the bidders. Then we would know if it's a result of the proxy bids or not.
i believe they started hiding them, because of those who would contact via emal offering a better deal on an item which doesnt exist :icon_confused:
