Last year my wife totalled her SV650s. This year I bought her a gs500f to start on again. She's too shaky and scared and doesn't feel comfortable riding anymore. I already have a bike of my own and we have no need for two. Plus, we're going to be moving here soon, and I didn't really want to move both bikes. If anyone is interested, let me know
2007 Suzuki GS500f
500 miles- I've ridden it back and forth to work
garage kept, no scratches, dings, or dents
We bought it new from the dealership about a month ago.
We're asking $5000 for it to pay off what we owe on it.
Again, interested, let me know.

Not trying to knock you out of a sell but the 08 is $4200 to $4700 out the dealer door.
Here in our area of TX the 08's are going for $5199 plus tax, title, and license, and sometimes "freight" depending on the dealer. The 07's are incredibly hard to find, especially used, which is what we were originally looking for and couldn't find. The 07's new from the dealer, even now with the 08's out, are within about $100 of the dealer's price on the 08's. It doesn't make any sense what-so-ever, but that's how it is here. With gas prices being hiked up, more people are turning to mcycles than normally would, so they can get by with it. We were determined to have an 07 because we didn't like the placement of the mirrors on the 08's. We finally found a place that offered us a military discount, so we paid about $5000 out the door for it. We're just trying to break even. Also, in our area, used ones, ads placed by local owners, are selling them $3800(with higher mileage and scratches)-$4500 (lower mileage with scratches). Not trying to argue, I think it just depends on where you are. Back in our hometown in Indiana, you could get a great deal on the 07's when the 08's came out. I know because this is our second one and the first was purchased there. Things are quite a bit different here; not sure why. Anyways, those are just the facts that I found when I was looking for one.
Yes gas $$ have driven the demand for smaller beginner bikes through the roof. Try getting a 250 rebel or a savage or even one of them 225 enduro's and you're looking at MSRP + ...
There was a shadow 600 04 that was left over and I saw them sell it for nearly 4999+. OK so you ahve a 4 year old used bike for 5 grand now ... huh that sounds stupid.
Scooters and the chineese crap like moto fino etc etc too same thing.
Cool.
