UPDATE
Dgyver and I started on a 569cc engine for my bike. Here are some specs.
80mm Wiesco pistons and sleeves-We are unsure what bike they came from, but they test fit perfectly.
Copper head gasket
polished and ported head
Mega Cycle Cams with adjustable cam gears
36mm GSXR carbs-36mm Flat Slides are on hold until break in is accomplished.
Bottom end and case checked out so all new bearings and seals have been installed. We buttoned up the bottom end this evening.I did swap out a bad output shaft for a used one in good condition.
Well worth the wait! Looks awesome Ben. I love that Bandit fender.

How did you mount up your gauges?
My favorite GS by far so far, except mine of course because I can ride mine.

How did you mount up your gauges?
Originally I used fabbed up Z bend brackets like jay wolf. When I upgraded to dual single stainless steel lines,I had to raise the gauges up.Dgyver fabbed up some brackets that are 1 inch tall. The brackets mount to the top of the triple clamp, bolts come up from underneath. The gauges bolt in from the top.he used plate aluminum. If you mount your gauges like jay wolf, use steel. My aluminum ones bent just from moving the bike around.
Lookin great ben! :thumb: nice job
Mine are Steel , Its a close fit between my gauges and my Stainless line , sorry for the threadjack

It's centered in the swing arm.Just a crappy cam fone and photographer.
Nicely done! I've been wondering what your project looks like :)
:o. your camera must make the wheel move off center than back when in person wierd

I was probably a little shaky when I took it.My fone distorts pics too.I measured everything and took a look at it last night.Every thing is spot on. :dunno_white:
ok as long as your bike is safe
Bumpy poo.Trying to get this back on the road and finished. The rebuilt tuned GS front end is going back on and the Katana Front end is going on a GS trike project that I is in the planning and parts aquiring stage.
