Hello, I just bought a 89 gs5003 with only 3600 miles,i t is in immaculate condition. Any ways, the previous owner told me about this place and Ive been looking around. So far I've sent away an ignition rotor to bob to get moded, I bought some progressive springs, a KN lunchbox and am going to get some jets from the local shop. One thing I would like to do is put a new headlight/front fairing/windshield on. I was thinking of a gs500f headlight and fairing or a gsx. Anyone know of any front fairing/headlight combos that are easy to mod onto the bike? How hard are the ones ive mentioned? I would just use a 500e specific fairing , but from the looks of it they are hard to find or pretty expensive. Plus I dont want full fairings, just the front and the chin if possible. I saw the targa, i can't find it anywhere though, also not a huge fan of the targa front fairing.
One more thing, is there anywhere online that sells individual jest?
Thanks for the help in advance.
Not sure about the fairings, but for the jets. a member on here sells them. Check in the classifieds section for carb rebuilds, rejets, etc., I just bought mine from him.

I've seen some people using buell headlight and 1/4 assemblies, and some people used the streetfighter style. Check out customfighters.com (http://customfighters.com)

Evidently too late since you've sent away your rotor (and presumably immobilized the bike, unless you have two), but you might want to consider just riding it for a while, particularly given that it's summer and all. 8)
