This afternoon I picked up my new/old GS500E.

I took it for a little run out of town and everything seems to work and behave just as it should..I think.

I am not keen on the white wheels (is this standard on a '92?), but they will change to black when I next get new tyres.

The Haynes Manual is on order, I am about to join the Ulysses Club, what next?

Maybe a tank bag, so I can carry my stuff to work?

Great choice. Now the mods can begin. I'd think about the front forks first. Prgressive springs and 15wt oil is a must.

Check out Pablo's web site for some great 'how to's'. Other members have some great sites too!

He'll be the first to ask about the rear fender! Well, maybe the second.

Oh yea... The white wheels are standard. I've got um on my 89, and both 94's.
