Title: float guide [request]
Post by: TGR on July 10, 2008, 08:03:20 AM
Hey guy's,

I'm having abit of bother with my float heights and thought I set the correctly, but the bike does'nt seem to think i've set them right! so last night I followed kerrys tube float height adjustment guide and both carbs levels where well off. So messing about with them I finally managed to get the same level in each carb and the bike runs abit better, but the levels are well below the gasket line ( 2inch approx) that the guide says it needs to be at! whatever adjustments I made to the height doesnt seem to raise the level, so I looked at dr loves float height guide  (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=26604.0) but without the images (picture says 1000 words) it didnt make any sence and i'm sure afew other people would appreciate a how to guide like kerrys float height guide if anyone could do it  :thumb:.

thanks in advanced.

Try this (it is from the Suzuki shop manual and includes a diagram):
