Title: Bike rally in Binghamton, NY- Stunt team, bike games...
Post by: SmithvilleFlats on July 11, 2008, 07:52:19 AM
There's a bike rally in Binghamton, NY on July 19.

Groups are leaving from Buffalo, Cortland/Ithaca, Elmira/Corning, Middletown/Monticello, Montrose and Scranton, meeting at Broome Community College, then riding to Otsinengo Park.

Live music, a stunt team, and I've heard free food :thumb:

Here's the schedule. (http://www.andrewsministry.com/goodnewsride/event/schedule.html)

Supposed to be up to 1500 bikes there.

Mine probably won't be running by then, but I hope to see some GS's!

Note that it is a proselytising event.

For a motorcycle-centric event, I'd suggest you, your bike, and NY Rt327...

Yech!  A conversion excursion disguised as a motorcycle event.   :icon_mrgreen:

Never tried 327...  Looks interesting though!

What you want is NY 223 between Swartwood and Erin.  The "Micro Dragon"   :thumb:

Could easily get them both in one afternoon or morning. I'll try to arrange a detour next time I head over to Ithaca (hmm - should be cherry season about now, too...) - looks like Cornish Hollow Road might be worth exploring for in between.
