I thought I would have this bike until it died, but in the last 2 years I don't think I have ridden it more than 6 times and don't forsee doing much commuting or street riding in the future, so she is for sale instead of collecting dust & rust in storage for an unlimited time as well as paying insurance every month.
The spec's are:
1999 Suzuki GS500EX
20,922 miles
Overall good condition
Yoshimura Slip-On Exhaust pipe (nice throaty rumble instead of sewing machine on steroids stock sound)
Stainless Steel Braided front brake line
Emgo tinted mirrors
K&N stock style reusable air filter
Buell rear signals
Clymer manual
Owner's manual
Carburetors cleaned in summer 2006. Bike was tuned & dynoed at Pro Stock Performance in August 2007 and recorded an average of 41.8hp at 4200 rpm's. Dyno chart included.
Great beginner bike & "short biker" bike.
$2000
There are some spare parts that can be sold separately including a Suzuki GS500 gel seat & set of wheels.

Hi Pam,
I'm interested if you'd sell the gel seat separately.
Can we talk? :)
Thanks,
Todd
P.S. And by the way, that's a very nice looking 1999 GS500. Certainly worth that kind of money because it looks to be in pristine condition.
You'll have no trouble selling it, I'm sure.
:)
I would like more info on the bike. Very interested. werx_racing@yahoo.com is my email.
Thank you
Jeremy
No no no, its a 1999, so it must be sold for $1999. O0
Cool.

If the bike sells I will see if the new owner wants to buy the seat. Otherwise I will let you know. I may just keep it in case I ever get a GS500 in the future because I can't ride on the stock seat for more than 30 minutes without my ass being sore!

I have a question for you Pam. I have an R6 that I was going to get the carbs cleaned and sync'd b/c of surging. I live in Cincinnati and heard of Pro Stock. Do you recommend them over the other places in the area?

Yes, they are good guys. I have also had work done at Holeshot Motorsports in Wilder, KY and they are good to deal with too.
pam, is the bike still for sale?

So which would you recommend for diagnosing a sputter and tuning my R6, ...Pro Stock or Hole Shot?
Bike is still for sale, but the price is NOT dropped to $1500.
Boyfriend says "Pro Stock". They do have a dyno and as far as I know Holeshot does not.
