Title: Can't find signal rotor seal
Post by: warning on July 17, 2008, 11:22:58 AM
It looks like I'm leaking oil from the round seal in back of the signal rotor. I can't find this part. I tried looking on www.mrcycles.com, www.ronayers.com with no success. Does anyone know which category this part is on or know the part number. Thanks.

Are you speaking of the rotor with all the magnets? If so it's supposed to send oil thru the shaft to feed the stater clutch. See this thread http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=14008.0

Sweet. Thanks dgyver. Question. Do you know how can remove this without taking off the crank case over?
