Long story short, the mayor of DC apparently wants to be out of a job.  You don't shaZam! in the face of a SCOTUS decision when SCOTUS has the ear of congress..........ever, ever,ever!!  That's just not a smart thing to do.  Just wait, the term impeachment is already being thrown around and I wouldn't be surprised if W has something to say.

checks and balances guys, that is why we have executive and legislative branches as well as the supreme court.  but then again the executive branch can override pretty much anything. look at gitmo and the no warrant wire taping.

gitmo got passed, os the authority is up to the judicial system now. and wire tapping got passed bot BOTh groups in  the legislative branch

I am glad the DC gun ban was reversed. As far as wire tapping, I don't give a crap. I have nothing to hide. If they tapped my line they would be bored out of their heads. They may be driven to insanity listening to my wife talk to her friends. :cookoo:
