Title: sv650 chainguard/hugger ?

anyone know if this might fit, or be made to fit?

Is that not a bandit 600 in the pic?It has a swept spoke rear wheel.Bandit 600 will work.SV may possibly be close to the same.  :dunno_white:

Or you could go to the for sale section, go to the seat cowl/rear hugger request thread and demand they start making rear huggers for the GS...please?  :cheers:

being as the chainguard is a straight swap, i was hoping i stumbled on something easy.  :dunno_white:

You would need to cut off the front mounting point for clearance of the shock linkage mount.
Then trim the right side mount for clearance of the brake bar.
The SV s/a is over 1" wider than the GS.
It will be off center to the tire.

Yeah I have a c/f SV hugger and tried this before.

At least I have a direct fit for it now.

so i am gathering that it will work with a minimum of tinkering. do you have a pic of yours mounted?

I do not have one mounted on a GS... for the reasons above... it looks like crap.

thanks, i'll be getting the last carbon fiber hugger then :icon_mrgreen:
