89 clip on's ?? Just about the best I have seen. The buddha bars are going to be $$$ due to steel going way up.
Cool.

Ha ha that vortex is a freaking POS. I think I should bump my $$ to 160, that vortex is a total POS.
Imagine pushing the forks up ~2inches up into the triples. That's how much you need to bolt them on.
Cool.

i thought you remove the stock top triple (the silver thing with the bar holders) and then put the clipons on and make a plate to cover the triple

Oh great - you do that and you dont have a way to fit the dash.
You dont happen to need that do you ??
BTW I have a set of tommasellis lying about at home. Similar concept. Much better execution. And they are alos the same POS. Great for race bikes, lousy for street bikes.
I should tell you ... if you want a street bike, and want everything in its place there is only 2 options for bars better for sportier look and feel than the stock (not including the previously available Buddha Bars). 89 clip on's or a katana 600 FE swap with a GS ear set welded up on the top triple.
Cool.

if you make the plate have mounting tabs for the dash you will have a place to mount it and from my measurements it will be no lower than upside down 89 clipons (which i can use upside down) or clubmans. the guy with the custom painted orange bike has them the same way i am going to try

The top GS plate isn't even 1/2 inch thick. You still have to push in the fork legs 1 1/2 inch to fit the thing. The mounting tabs plate - I have no idea what you talking about. But hard mount the dash and you can start counting the days before the innards of the gauges will turn to mush. That direct from the frame vibration will kill them. The gauges are rubber mounted for a reason. In fact the 5-6-7 how many ever manufacturers have pretty much disagreed on everything except to fit the gauges on grommets.
Anyway, I find all sorts of crap that people have tried, from weird funky ass jets, shady looking hoses and plugs in carbs, stupid mods on everything making me just go ... WTF were these people thinking.
Cool.
