Title: Multi-position dog legs
Post by: markjohnson75 on September 03, 2003, 06:45:27 PM
Saw these on E-bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=35592&item=2430794222

These multi-position dog legs might  be just the thing to open up shock choices on our GS500s.  Many of the shocks available seem to leave the rear of the bike too high.

Does anyone think that these might work?

these wont work with the GS as they are too short. The GS dogbone is about 7 7/8" or so long, to make the bike sit lower the dogbone has to be longer. Easier and cheaper to by some steel barstock and cut and drill holes and some shaving of the side to clear the swingarm. No need for multiple holes because I hope you dont want to switch back to the stock POS!
