Have you tried any Busa forums? I'm guessing that may be a limiting factor for some folks here. :dunno_white:
I'd snap one up in a heartbeat if my noggin was the right shape. I don't have a Shoei head.

It's true - I would totally think it was a scam.
In fact, I told some buddies about it and one was in total disbelief. I had to reassure him that you were on the level. :thumb: Too bad he doesn't have a Shoei head either!

Not knowing what size might actually fit my noggin, and with the extremely short window of opportunity (to make time to try to track down a shop that has RF1000's in stock in enough sizes to see if they are hopeless on my head or not), and having already ordered an el-cheapo up to date Snell helmet, not going to happen. The graphics are not as gag-worthy as some, but I prefer a solid helmet.
If you really wanted to make this sort of thing work, at least a week to work with would improve the odds. I know, you don't make the call as to when your shop makes the stuff available for you to sell, and decided to haul it all off to some other site, I'm just saying - without a test-fit it really doesn't matter what the (absurd) list price is. Though said absurd list price pretty much did keep me from spending a lot of attention on the damn things when I was out trying things on before ordering my el-cheapo (HJC CL-15 - solid red). I was a Bieffe customer, but those seem to be off the US market now, and Shoei and Arai appear to have taken the old Bell "If you have a $10 head, get a $10 helmet" slogan to it's illogical extreme - a $100 snell/dot helmet protects pretty much as well as a $600 snell/dot helmet, and the upcharges for fricking ugly graphics are beyond my understanding.
Looking at years of grott in my liner, my list included removable/washable liner, anti-fog shield, solid bright red color (since my current florescent orange seems to be unobtanium), snell 2005, and not costing an arm, a leg, and the other hand and foot. Pay too much for a helmet and you won't want to replace it every 5 years, like you should.

sorry but there is a huge difference between your El Cheapo and my Arai. There is ventilation, noise and head shake difference just to name a few.
Scott. I have 3 to order so far. Might go as far as 4 by the morning time.
 Awesome Importbabe :icon_mrgreen:

I also have a bieffe head. For years that was all I wore. Yea till they tossed it out of the US market.
Anyway, Your Snell will protect you just as well if not, better than the shoei.
The real difference is, the overall size, the aero's, the replaceable innards, the ventilation, the noise (or lack there of), and the weight (again, the lack of). To get a HJC to work like your Bieffe (Love my GPR which I use in winter) or this shoei, its a good bit bigger, its definetly heavier, its noisy, its blowing air when you dont want it, and not blowing when you need, and its not cleanable when it starts to smell.
The better helmets are not for people who have more expensive heads, its for people who get irritated by the little niggling things that you have to deal with on a motorcycle.
Cool.

Damn...Helmet was shipped Monday..... and strapped to my Big head before 6pm the next day! ( Today ).
Fits a little snug but will break in quickly enough ( fits the skull area well... face and cheeks are a little extra snug....). I do have a Shoei Head tho. I've always like Shoei's.
Great Deal - Thanks Scott.
