Post by: jsmit on July 25, 2008, 01:37:43 AM
Is there any rear tails that would work on an 07 Gs500f? If so which ones would work.Thanks.

I always thought the rear tail of a '57 Chev looked pretty cool. It'd take a bit of work though........ :thumb:

Volvo 1800S - tiny tailfins.

You can make anything fit. There have been a lot on the Buell tails recently. I have seen GSXR, R6, probably a CBR. Most will require modifing the subframe with new brackets and possibly cutting & welding.

The cutting and welding is what makes it fun!  :dunno_white:  Search for a post of mine, I'm currently going through the process of fabing a Buell X1 tail myself.  Its pretty straight forward if you have the time and are willing to learn while you do it.  I've never taken anything on this large and as long as your patient and ask questions you should be allright.  The proper tools help quite a bit as well.
