Title: HELP! Fuel being discharged into my airbox! Any body in Houston Tx?
Post by: Joseq on July 25, 2008, 06:37:00 AM
Hi yall. I have tried pretty much everything I could with my Bike issue. I have a 2006 GS500F and it is leaking gas into my Airbox. No pinched lines, vaccum lines are clear, changed oil, spark plugs, clened up Gas tank etc. I miss the wind hitting my face : ( any body in Houston that could help me out, Im willing to pay for your knowledge. Thanks. It is obvious that I need a carb work done and/or floats adjusted.

Sounds like the float needles are not seating properly and need to be replaced.

your carb breather hose isn't blocked with debris, or a wasp nest is it?

Otherwise, drop your float bowls and look and the needle.
