Title: rearset question/ Posturing?
Post by: lopee on July 25, 2008, 09:12:13 AM
Does anyone know if 2002 cbr 600 f4i rearsets would fit on 91 gs, and if any mods would have to be done? :dunno_white:

Has anyone tried to use stock rearsets with spacer plates/ adjuster plates w/ mods to extend the shifter?
Im a small guy, 5'6", and the bike feels like it wants me to have my feet back further , im always on my toes. I dont want these things for looks or cornering needs, just comfort.
Are there any things that could make it more comfortable, like the handlebars? Ive got clubman bars upside down ( too narrow in the middle) and the hand position is angled back and down. Could this be affecting the way my feet are sitting or the way the rest of my body posture naturally leans toward?

This was tried and reported that 1 side sat back further than the other.

gixxer sets can be made to fit but you will need custom mounting plates to bolt them upto. or any plate that are the distance from mounting to peg.
