Title: Help me Chose between tires
Post by: Mdow on July 27, 2008, 09:00:24 AM
OK so i have a 94 GS and i think i have scored a bandit 400 rear wheel.  so its new big sticky tire time.
judging of the rotation gear calculater
http://www.bikerenews.com/Stories_Archives/GearRpmSpeedCalculator.htm
i would need to run a 150/60/17
and now i think im down to two tires
i don't have alot of options with 110/70 front and a 150/60 rear

Michalin Pilot powers anybady ever ridden them or heard anything about them?

and
Pirelli Rossis new for 08 so im guessing nobady has these i also might not be able to get a front they seem to be out of stock everywere

i am only looking for 2-4k miles so i know they are soft

all the roads here are really twisty and i love it but my POS biaply lug tires don't cut it (also the front is dry rotted and needs to go bad)

any other very aggresive tire sugestions?

street tars..... black round and hold air.

if you have any questions on the b4 wheel swap....ask
i know the rim spoke design doesn't match, but the kat 600/750 wheel is an easier swap
