I've discovered what i thought was the air vent hose to be actually know better as the carb overflow (its the top hose form in between the carbs which joins via a 'T' piece)
With this pointing downwards and the bike running in neutral its not long before the bike loses any will to run or rev and fuel starts to come out of the overflow until the bike stalls.
My right plug is coming back coked up and the left a nice colour.
Any idea why this is happening?

I think ive figured my problem out however not having had a chance to check the bike im not sure.
I havent disassembled the carb lately but i have had them out, i think the right float valve could be stuck open resulting in too much fuel getting through causing bogging, spitting, coughing and the very rich right cylinder. ill tap the carb with a mallet tomorrow and see if that releases the float valve.
