put on new pads on the rear tonight...everything went well, out with the old in with the new put em back together and bleed them. Exept not the brakes are locked.Any suggestions?

Because the new pads are thicker than the old ones, you to push the brake pistons back in before installing the new pads. Since the brakes are now locked, you will probably need to remove the new pads and push back the pistons.
Also, brake bleeding shouldn't be necessary if you only change the pads. I'm not saying it was a bad idea, only that it's not strictly required. In fact I think brake bleeding was a good idea because it means you've now got fresh brake fluid in there!
