Well, after being run off the road twice in 3 weeks on the interstate through a construction zone just missing cement barriers, I figured it was time to upgrade the horn. Don't ask me how 3-18 wheelers see me, the guys wife see's me, as she's yelling at him, and he still comes over and gives me "the look" as if I'm the one who was wrong. I was about half tempted to strap a emergency glass break hammer to my bike after that. Anyways, I stopped at Advance Auto Parts and picked up a horn by Fiamm. Its a "freeway blaster" high pitch 132db horn. Plugs right in, Doest drain to much juice from the starting system and being right there under the fairing. It's Pretty Damn Loud. I startled an old couple that put his blinker on to come into my lane, Damn Texas Drivers.... Anyways, pretty good attention getter, and only $17 and some change, Not a bad buy I might say. Try one out.

seems like you should have gone with a Nautilus air horn. I have one on mine and it just simply blows the nuts out of the old underwear!

I was gonna buy the "Freeway Blaster" a few months ago before I bought the GS but never got around to it and I wasnt sure if it would work...in fact, today I had to use my "meep meep" horn as some old lady cuts into my right of way

I found although its not the loudest I could have bought or the cheapest, "There is some pretty crappy stuff out there", It does a lot better job than the old road runner horn, and definately gets people looking for a larger car, or something that could (god forbid) "hurt their car".. Which suits its purpose quite nicely. I absolutely recommend it.

I just checked out the nautilus that erbilabuc recommended and seems twice as nice.. Though that could be to your demise BECAUSE of the fact people are looking for a large vehicle, they definitely arent paying any attention to YOU
