I'm going to buy a lunchbox filter for my 2005 500F, will th one for the "E" work on mine?
Following the search on other conversations about this, I noticed they only call out fitting for up to 2003. :dunno_white:
yeah i had the same question, im assuming that you used the search function on K&N's website which doesnt bring up the "lunchbox" filter option and why that was as explained to me is bc its not a direct drop in in the sense that you have to rejet inorder to use it and the K&N search function only shows the fliters that are drop ins i have an 04 and was told i would have no problems using one i would just have to rejet which you have to do any way with a new exauhst, i havent put mine in yet though i just got it from dgyver 3 days ago and i havnt had the cash for the new pipe yet either but talk to chef he has done a ton of stuff to his 06 including a lunchbox

Sweet, thanks. I've already got the pipe/muffler. I'm going to cut off the OEM and TIG weld the adaptor that I'll probably have to make. But I've got a full shop so I just have to find the time. When I have free time I want to ride, not work on it!
