Well after going through youtube and reading the WIKI. I decided that i will be upgrading my Exhaust to LASER Oval Deeptone full exhaust system. Since this requires rejetting i decided to upgrade to K&N Lunchbox. Again due to the post.
So i called up Stealership and they are going to do it for me. Question: Should i have them make sure they inform me the jet size and pilot size.. etc.. just for future use? I will need it? Also is it a good idea to go ahead and put in a fuel filter as well?
Thanks for the info...

maybe you should tell the stealership what jets to use. After some more research on this forum and the Wiki of course.
^ ya thats what i would do

Definitely, this site knows way more about the set up it needs than the stealership.
^ whatever they said OR do the job by yourself!!
It'll be fun and you'll gain some experience with motorcycle maintenance :thumb:
It's really not hard to change exhaust and jets, once you're there the air filter will take you 2-3 minutes.
good luck and have fun

Thanks to our glorious economy. I now have to pay $200 more than this was originally cost back in 2006. WEAAAAKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!. Last post here about this exhaust was 450-500 max. Now its $639. Its due to the fact its coming from Europe.
Me too. I'm thinking of putting this system on. Anyone have it installed and running? How does it fit? How does it sound? Opinions?
As he said... check youtuube. :thumb:
Blue take a few minutes and call Adrian at Shiny Side Up in Everett. His prices may be better for the work. He just did some work on my 06 and I have to say I am very happy with it. He came highly recommended from some other guys at the PNW Riders site. He's on Rucker and Hewitt. http://www.shinysideupmotorcycleservice.com/
Bro thank you so much. I will definitely check them out. My exhaust should arrive tommorow so you caught me at the right time. I should have the dyno jets by next week as well.
Man thanks again for the tip. I chose them to do it for me. while the cost is still up there.. the guy sounded like buddha in terms of knowledge of the bike. That made it very comfortable i was going to get taken care of. He actually talked to me about the filter i was choosing and ended up informing me that that k&n drop in was better as the lunchbox only really gave a few hp between 1 to 2 but at the high end of the engine rev.. which i never really get to with my use. Man its nice to know someone actually knowledgeable will work on your bike.
No problem. Yeah, Adrian takes the time to talk about things and really explain everything. He is a cool guy.
He just did some carb work for me and the bike has much better response etc. He also did the valve work for me so if you are needing that I know he has the parts as he was waiting on stock to work on my bike. I was refered to him by a local guy with a GS500F also.
Let me know when you get your bike back and we can go for a ride.
