Title: Carburetor and Fuel System Questions

I usually add Lucas Oil Fuel System Treatment to my other vehicles but they are all fuel injected.  I have the big bottle that treats the fuel system and top end of the motor but it does say that it cleans injectors.  Would that hurt the carburetor or would it be good to clean and lube things up?  Does anyone use this or something similar on their bikes?

How hard is it to synch the carbs?  I mentioned to my Dad that I wanted to rejet the carbs and add a K & N Filter and maybe add a slip on.  He said that I would have to take it somewhere to have it done because of the two carbs.  I have read the posts on rejetting and understand the basics.  When you rejet do you get the carbs out of synch?

synching the carbs is VERY, VERY easy if you have a synch tool.

warm up the bike, unbolt the tank and swing it 180 degrees and set it on something (i used a trashcan), set the petcock to prime, hook up the synch gage to the two carbs, block off the other two (if it's a 4 line one like mine is), start the bike and turn the screw

Takes like 10 minutes

I answered my own question.  I checked the website

and the Lucas Oil Stuff I had will work with fuel injectors and carburetors.  I added it to the bike and it idles and runs much smoother.  The vibration was noticebly less from the engine running smoother on the interstate.
