Late last week my dog had surgery to remove a tumor from his leg, still waiting on biopsy results but the vet thinks it'll show as benign because all his pre-surgery serology came back perfect. Then yesterday the f%$king impeller on the water pump in the jag froze up and ended up blowing up one of the radiator hoses in the process. Ohhh and heat indices in the 110's for the last week and projected through next week have been keeping me from riding. On the plus side, i've got a missed call from the recruiter so maybe he has my damn 214 finally.

My bike has clothes and I never go out without leather. End of Story.

The Marine recruiter arranged for a ride to get me down to re-take the ASVAB (my scores are all over 2 years old), We get down there, fill out a 680 and head over to the test site. There's a line of Army applicants 50 people long and there are only 35 seats per testing. What a f%$king waste. The assholes brought their applicants 3 hours before test time. I go next thursday to hopefully actually take the test. And still no sign of my 214.
