Title: Attacked the GS tonite.
Post by: jake42 on September 05, 2003, 10:48:03 PM
So my 2.5 year old went to bed at a decent hour tonite (9:45) my 17 year old neighbor and I decided to attack my bike with wrenches.  In the span of about 2 hours total we replaced my front brake pads, dropped out the old shock and put in a katana shock, and replaced the drag bars with a pair of suzuki low rise dirt bike bars that he had that match the paint on the top of my triple trees exactly and look pretty cool. (ps i know that was a huge runon sentence).

I can't wait to go and test it out tomorrow in the daylight.  I always seem to have other stuff to do, but when it comes down to it, I really enjoy wrenchin on my bike a whole heck of alot.

Next project is gonna be K&N's and a new jets.

what a good night! :thumb:
