Title: Fork braces for sale.$40
Post by: The Buddha on August 09, 2008, 07:35:11 PM
I made these 4-5 years ago, sold some and then like moved or somehting and lets them in a box and forgot them. These were made of 70 series aluminum. Very very high grade aluminum/chrome vanadium alloy.
These are available with no holes (you do a transfer of the holes using cardboard for a tight tight fit or in the drilled form with the egged holes etc)
I also had people blind mount the fender, so you dont see those bolts at all. Drilled and tapped shallow from the under side. That was why I made undrilled ones.
$40 and shipping, and if I get a large set of people wanting them, I'd make them again.
Rabid-viper06 recently got one form me - the drilled kind. Check with him as to how they are made and how they work. Stainless button head bolts for the forks only included. Fender - you on your own ... just ace it.
Cool.

Your call actually. For now I have both types. 8 holes and no holes. You want the fork holes, I'll drill em in one of the blank ones upon payment.
Cool.

Yea, see someone who's drilling and threading the fender holes, is well able to do a cardboard transfer on the fork bolt holes.
The fork holes if they are tight, and not egged like stock, that is the best to totally cut down the thing from twisting.
Anyway, yea PM/paypal me, I'll send you.
Cool.
