Post by: surf.seppo on August 15, 2008, 12:53:53 PM
Hey guys. As I said over in the main forum, I'm selling my ol' GS. Here's the craigslist ad (with photos): http://providence.craigslist.org/mcy/798300567.html. Please shoot me an offer. Nothing reasonable will be refused. Discounts available for people on this forum.  8) It's been awesome, guys.

The bike looks pretty good. Too bad, we're not closer and I don't have the $1100 as I could use a spare bike. How do you like those MotoPak saddlebags? Do they hit your exhaust, turnsignals, etc..  or cause any problems? Would you be willing to sell them separately? If so, do you have any picts of them on or off the bike?
Thanks, Tony

Hilarious Buddha -- you always put a smile on my face.  :)

Tony: I loves the Motopak. Super easy on and off, don't hit the exhaust, etc. They are a little bit big, so that if you sit far back in the seat, you sit on the end of the strap at times. I've toured nearly 2k miles on them, and have yet to have a serious problem. One of the back straps got eaten through a little bit, but duct tape seems to have solved.

I'll try to get some pics tomorrow, and I could def. see selling them separately.

hehe.. Buddha's quite the comic relief sometimes! As for the saddlebags, cool, I've got their GT-17 magnetic tankbag and their GT-Tail bag, so all that would go right together, not that I'd need that much storage space this side of an Iron Butt ride, but you never know. ;-)

Hey Tony: apparently my website is down, so I can't post the picks of the bags. Do you have an email address I could use? (PM me or something)  :)
