Downtown ride on Sunday afternoon Aug-17 ?
Date: Sun 17th
Time: 12:00PM, have a coffee, leave 12:30. <-------TIME'S BEEN PUSHED BACK
Location: Meet at Weston.RD and the 401 12:00PM ( Tim Horton's ).
Pace: Ride open to everyone newbie friendly M1, 125, 250, SS, cruisers, mopeds etc. etc. Take a little cruise down town and be back home in time for dinner ? This will be a slow paced relaxed Sunday ride.
Route: will be " roughly " ( depending on traffic , road conditions, time etc. )
Weston.RD. > Eglinton > Spadina > Davenport > Rosedale Vallley.rd > Bayview > River > Broadview > Queen > Eastern.av.
Stop at the Lakeshore Timmies for a smoke / coffee / washroom break.
Then.......
Lakeshore > Yonge > Dundas > Bay > Yorkville > Avenue.rd > Davenport and take the same way back. ( or shoot across the lakeshore and take Park Side back up to Weston.RD.). Possibly take a ride by Queensquay, Q Beach, Cherry Beach, Richmond to see whats going on there.
Open to suggestions but I do want to do Rosedale Valley.RD. since this is one of the better roads in the city. Lakeshore is also a good ride from Leslie to Sunny Side Park.
Sunday is the best time to ride down town since traffic is light and to see whats going on in the city.
Total riding time will be 2-3 hours depending, I want to be back in time for Sunday dinner (5-6)
