I wrecked my bike. It ran into a tree and the front forks are bent. The engine works just fine. I'm looking for a quick sale. I'm located in the Bay Area, in California.

...been there, done that...
...bought another bike.
Good luck with your sale! :thumb:
Been there done that, bought a 93 in near identical shape, put a kat FE on it and sold it all in 4 days. Wish you were closer.
Cool.
Buddha.
Interested.
Pics? Clean title?
Down a few hours south, could come with truck. Thanks
Clean title. pics at: http://www.new.facebook.com/album.php?aid=48589&l=8e4a7&id=681346038
Do you have everything thats removed from the bike in the pics? Are they rashed up or just removed or? Thanks
did you have an oil leak or somethign, ( looking at head)
Is the frame bent ???
The design flaw on the GS ... one more ... design flaw ...
A crash tends to get transmitted to the frame a good bit. I had this 98 frame with a similar bend in the FE and it had a bent frame. I have been told that a very stiff triple set (the top is a double and the bottom is thicker than a katana one) ... it will put more of the impact in the frame ...
You want the parts further out to give. Like I'd like to have abent wheel before the forks bend (does not ever freaking happen including my recent one ... straight wheel, bent forks) ... and triples bend before frame does, and heck forks bend before frame.
Anyway, mine had a bashed steering stop - but frame was stright. Forks, triples, steering stop was the hard parts that were bent.
Cool.
Buddha.

Pretty sure Im the first response?
Sikdmax: I have the seat but I don't know what else looks missing. I have a front fairing with a windshield but the paint doesn't match
Yamahonkawazuki: It has an oil leak somewhere but I haven't been able to find it.
I have someone coming to look at it this week, I'll let you know if it doesn't sell.

Can you take a pic of where the front end bolts onto the frame straight on from either side? Also a few more pics of the bike from different angles. If Im driving up 4 hours, Im going to buy it, and want to check it out a bit more first. Let me know, interested with cash. Thanks
Oh yea ... lets see here ...

The buddha does not have that ability. In fact the only think the buddha can do is get beat up. Oh yea, no one takes a beating like the buddha.

I thought the Buddha with some jets and a set of old relics *carbs* made magic happen, much better than the water into wine stuff , its only 2 pounds a bottle
