I plan on buying duals for my 89, but I've only seen dominators or the equivalent there of on other members bikes. I was thinking about
5 3/4" duals, but I was hoping to see some pictures of people with tem on their bike before I commit to anything.
Wow, I forgot all about this post...bump?
I plan on using 5.75 duals on my bike. Not sure when I'll be getting a set though.
I guess nobody has done this? I'm going to put the dual headlight setup on my '92 but I can't decide between the 4" and 5-3/4". The 4" look a little small but the 5-3/4" may look too big. I might try to rig something up to get a comparision in the meantime. anybody?
I haven't done it yet, but 5 3/4 is what I am going with. The 4's look too small. Triumph speed triple has 5 3/4 lights for reference.
Check the pics in this thread, they appear to be 5 3/4".

4's I think, I will check when I get home. If I were interested in keeping theese I would make custom brackets that brought them forward about an inch and up about 2 - 3 inches. They look OK though.

Hawk Dude you get the pics ? are we on ?
PM me.
Cool.
Buddha.
Mine aren't as big as what you want, but I am running dual lights. Each light has 2 H4 bulbs and 2 small park lights in them. Just to warn you that at idle the system is charging with about ~11.5-11.6 volts. Once at speed, say above 3K rpm it charges at over 12volts which is a bit low but i'm okay with it. If i disconect the H4's it charges at 14volts at idle. So if you go the dual on light route you may want to put a headlight disconnect switch on it for when you have it warming up or idling in traffic. (I need to do that still, but i'm lazy) My only other power drain is Acewell gauges so I can't tell you for certain what a bike with stock gauges would do. Don't think it'd be majorly different though. You probably already heard stuff like that in other threads about dual lights, but I thought it was worth bringing up again. I hope it all works out well for ya.

Ok so I got my 5-3/4" duals in and the brackets. They are mounted on the katana front end. I got them off ebay for $67 shipped, and look the same as the aztec $178 set. These are just harley side mount lights that I connected together with a 5/16-24 coupler standoff. They were only in chrome but I am going to sand and paint black and probably add a small project box behind to hide the wires. Will update with pitures if there's interest.
