Title: Yoshi exhaust Mod????
Post by: souljeroflight on August 19, 2008, 08:18:56 PM
So my question is i have bought a Yoshi trs slip on off a gsxr 600 and i am wanting to get the install right.  It is not coming with a mid-pipe but does come with the 4-bolt adapter at the inlet side and has a 1 7/8" inlet. how do i go about installing this on my 05 gsf?

I'd get with buddha and see if he can make you a flange, that would probably be the cleanest install. He was talking a few days ago about doing some, either three or four bolt.

4 bolt. And you might want to keep an eye that thread. He was talking about scratching the flange idea for a slip on.

I made my own plate for a 3 bolt can with basic tools. I traced the gasket on to a piece of steel, cut it out with a jigsaw, drilled the center out with a hole saw, the drilled the bolt holes. I then used a grinder to smooth down the edges and make it look a little cleaner. Took about an hour then I just took it down to a muffler shop and had it welded on.

Does anyone have pictures of their Yoshi 4 bolt Mod Just using our Mid Pipe?  It seems the angle of our mide pipe is different.  the yoshi is straight out and the stock is kinda curved. see i have the 4-bolt fllange that bolts to the Can but im not sure where to cut and weld.  Kind of need someone to spell it out for me. :cookoo: i really appreciatte all your help.
