Oddly enough, the exhaust was the first thing that stuck out to me too!  It IS however, a very nice looking bike aside from that.  Hope you enjoy it thoroughly!!  You won't notice the exhaust too much from the saddle anyway!   :thumb:

The exhaust is a little ugly, but the rest of the bike makes up for it.  I probably will change it out in the future but for right now im just gonna get used to the bike and ride!  It was really an impulse buy, i have always wanted one, but i was going to wait.  But for some reason yesterday i decided just to go for it, and i am really happy i did.  I am loving every minute of it.

Touch that dial - turn me on
Start me like a motor, make me run
Lovin every minute of it
Lovin every minute of it
Turn that dial all the way
Shoot me like a rocket into space
Lovin every minute of it

Bike looks great! I bet you could drill out those rivets cut a few inches out and rivet the end cap back on would probably make it a little more proportional.

I have a friend that did that to his Z1000.  He seems to like the look and sound a lot more after taking 10 inches off.  I have yet to see it, so I don't really know.  :dunno_white:

I can't believe that nobody on this forum has suggested a fenderectomy yet.

Won't be me, since I find some use in a fender, but that thing is so similar to the fender y'all love to hate on the GS... :dunno_white:

Nice looking bike but yeah, whats the go with that exhaust?

I've noticed most bike manufactures have gone back to stupid, big ugly cans. Why is that?

I have always wondered why they make the can as long as the tail section plastic.  Do you think they make them so big and ugly because they know almost everyone goes out and get an aftermarket one right away? Nice looking bike i looked at one when i was looking at my gs500f price was the desiding factor in my getting the 500 over the 600

I am surprised that exhaust does not pull the bike over to one side!! It's hideous - more like the pipe for a Dodge Truck. But the bike looks great apart from that.

Nice looking bike. I agree on the exhaust though, it could be smaller...

Remember it is an R6S

The R6 has a smaller can

Why are all the bikes manufacturers going away from underseat exhausts?

Why are all the bikes manufacturers going away from underseat exhausts?
because the undertail setups really dont gain you anything, centralizing the mass of the bike lower helps improve handling and therefore make the buyers happier.

I hate undertail pipes myself quite honestly.

I think that pipe looks wicked.   I mean, it is saying, HERE IS THE PIPE.   I wouldn't change a thing on that blue bomber.

wouldn't it improve aerodynamics with underseat exhausts?

it makes the seat a lot hotter for a passenger, and increases the likelyhood of them getting burnt
