Title: 2007 GS500F - Fork Springs
Post by: SDSurfRider on August 22, 2008, 10:59:26 AM
Hello all,

I was advised by my local mechanic to call Progressive Suspension and get some new front fork springs for my bike.

The problem is that Progressive says they don't offer anything for 2007 GS500Fs, but they do have fitments for 2002s.

Will 2002 fork springs fit the forks of a 2007 GS500F?

I really enjoy my bike, but it is a huge PITA to find anything made to fit it, or to find any updated info that actually pertains to a new version.  What gives?

Thanks!

89-09 is the same for the forks, or for every part?

Thanks!

Some external stuff is different ... but otherwise same.
Some decals and what not ... I think are new on the 01+.
Cool.

If your German is any good then you may want to consider fitting these little puppies.  (If you need a translation try Babelfish.)

Good luck
